Ranchi, September 17 (HS). Against the statement of Union Minister Navneet Vittu and Shiv Sena (Shinde) MLA Sanjay Gaikwad against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, effigies of both the leaders were burnt at Albert Ekka Chowk in Ranchi on Tuesday. State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Leader of Congress Legislature Party cum Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon along with a large number of state officials, district officials, Congress workers participated in the program.
On the occasion, the state president said that recently Union Minister of State for Railways Navneet Bittu has called the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi a terrorist and an enemy of the country. Jharkhand Pradesh Congress condemns such objectionable statement given by the Union Minister. The people of Jharkhand want to know at whose behest this hate campaign against Rahul Gandhi is being carried out. Kamlesh said that Maharashtra's ruling party Shiv Sena (Shinde) MLA Sanjay Gaikwad has also made violent comments by making baseless allegations against Rahul Gandhi.
Kamlesh said that why is there so much hatred among BJP leaders towards Rahul Gandhi. BJP people are scared of Rahul Gandhi's growing popularity in the country. He said that those who make such violent statements against Rahul Gandhi are the real terrorists. He also said that Jharkhand Pradesh Congress demands that BJP leader Navneet Bittu and Shiv Sena (Shinde) MLA Sanjay Gaikwad be immediately arrested for making hateful and violent statements.
