State BJP delegation met the Governor and submitted a memorandum


Ranchi, June 24 (HS). A delegation of the state BJP led by the Leader of Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly Amar Kumar Bauri met Governor CP Radhakrishnan at the Raj Bhavan on Monday. During this, the delegation handed over a memorandum related to various demands to the Governor, mentioning the incident of violence on the occasion of Bakrid on June 17 in Gopinathpur village under Pakur district.

Through the memorandum, the delegation demanded immediate establishment of a permanent police picket in Gopinathpur village and deployment of Central Police Force, action against the culprits by conducting a high-level judicial inquiry into the Gopinathpur incident, compensation for the loss suffered by the villagers there. It also urged to take initiative to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the state. The delegation urged to establish a school for education there and identify the persons selling banned meat in the entire state and take action against them.

Assembly members Naveen Jaiswal, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Randhir Kumar Singh and Amit Mandal were present in the delegation.
