Mumbai: A bus of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) overturned in Raigad this morning. Four out of 50 passengers travelling in the bus were injured. However, the lives of the tourists were saved as the bus stopped due to rocks and trees on the roadside. Due to this incident, traffic was affected for some time.
The ST bus was coming from Alibaug to Panvel. The driver lost control of the bus at Karlekhind on Alibaug-Pen Road in Raigad. The bus overturned on the side of the road.
There was no traffic in the valley due to rocks and trees along the road. It was largely avoided.
Four injured passengers were taken to hospital for treatment. It is said that their health is fine.
