Big news for the youth who have passed 12th and are looking for government jobs. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the application process for SSC CHSL 2024. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply is May 7, 2024, the application process will start from April 8, 2024. Apart from this, the Commission has also announced the Tier 1 exam date for this recruitment.
A total of 3712 posts will be filled through SSC CHSL 2024, which includes Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) among many others. For this, Tier 1 examination will be conducted in June-July. Candidates can apply on or before the prescribed last date.
What qualifications are required?
For the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO)/DEO Grade 'A' in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, candidates should have passed 12th class. Whereas, for LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade 'A', candidates should have passed Intermediate. For more details regarding eligibility candidates can check the official notification.
Age Limit – Candidates age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years. OBC candidates are given relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years, while SC/ST candidates are given relaxation up to 5 years.

What is the selection process?
Candidates will be selected through SSC CHSL 2024 in three stages – Tier 1, Tier 2 exam and document verification. Tier 1 will be conducted in computer based mode with objective type questions. Successful candidates will proceed to Tier 2 examination. The Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be held in June-July 2024.
