Araria, 19 April (Hindustan Reporter). The soldiers of Ghurna police station and SSB BOP camp adjacent to the India-Nepal border conducted a joint raid on a secret information and seized four kilos of ganja near Babuan village. This action was taken on the way to Supaul in Babuan in Indian territory, two hundred meters away from the India-Nepal border.
Two smugglers from Nepal were bringing ganja filled in bags on their forehead, while the smugglers managed to escape towards the fields by taking advantage of the corn crop. When the police and SSB searched the bag, ganja was found in the bag. This action was taken by the police personnel of Ghurna SSB camp.
Police said that they had received secret information that a large quantity of ganja was being brought to Indian territory from Nepal in bags on the forehead, in view of this, SSB jawans were deployed on the border. The estimated value of the recovered ganja in the international market is estimated at Rs 55 thousand. The police station chief said that the smugglers who fled from the spot are being identified and a case will be registered against them.
