SSB arrested Nepali citizen along with a Pakistani

Kishanganj, 20 July (HS). On Friday night, a Pakistani and two Nepali citizens were arrested by the 41st battalion of Kishanganj headquarters situated on the border of Bihar and Nepal in North Dinajpur, West Bengal. During a search operation by the SSB, these three were entering the Indian border from Nepal near the water tank of Khoribari police station area.

According to the SSB officer, the arrested citizens were entering India via Nepal. The SSB first detained them and interrogated them. Then all three were arrested. The Pakistani citizen has been identified as Saif Ullah, who is a resident of Mardan district of Pakistan. The Nepali citizens have been identified as Man Bahadur Thapa and Megh Bahadur Thapa.

During interrogation by SSB, it was found that the Pakistani citizen has a security company in Dubai and he employs people from Nepal in his company. Whereas, both the Nepali citizens run a manpower company named Himalayan Gorkha HR. Both work together.

The Pakistani citizen reached Kathmandu on July 18. From here he reached Itahari by car, where he interviewed some youths. After this, all three left for Ilam. The car of the Pakistani and Nepali citizen broke down as soon as they entered India. So they stopped near a water tank to get it repaired. These three had entered about 400 meters inside Indian territory. SSB said that after completing the legal process, the Pakistani and Nepali citizen have been handed over to PS Khoribari Police.
