Srinagar: Encounter between security forces and terrorists begins in the forests of Jabarwan.

Srinagar, 10 November (Hindustan Reporter). An encounter has started between terrorists and security forces in the forests of Jabarwan, Srinagar on Sunday morning. There is information about the presence of at least three terrorists in the area.

A top police officer said that late in the night, a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area. In the morning the security forces faced off against the terrorists. The firing started around 9 am in the forest area connecting the upper reaches of Dachigam and Nishat areas. He said that two to three foreign terrorists are present in the area and heavy firing is going on.
