He defeated his nearest rival NDA alliance's Subhaspa candidate Dr. Arvind Rajbhar by 162943 votes. Arvind Rajbhar got 340188 votes. On this seat, BSP's Balkrishna Chauhan came third by getting 294004 votes. In this sense, SP has got a big victory on this seat.
