Indian star shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen, who missed out on a medal at the Paris Olympics, will make their international comeback through the Arctic Open Super 500 badminton tournament in Finland from Tuesday. Sindhu and Sen will participate in a tournament for the first time after the Olympics.
Both of them focused on reviewing their game during the short break and making necessary improvements. Sindhu has parted ways with her coach Indonesia's Agus Santoso and appointed India's Anup Sridhar and Korean legend Lee Seun Il as her new coaches. Sen has paid more attention to his fitness and spent most of his time at the Red Bull Arena in Austria during the break. In the Arctic Open, Sindhu's first match will be against Michelle Lee of Canada and Lakshya Sen will face Rasmus of Denmark. Apart from Sindhu, Malvika Bansod and Akshi Kashyap will also play in women's singles. No Indian is participating in men's doubles.
