Spirituality should be visible in the conduct and behavior of teachers: Dr. Krishna Gopal

Lucknow, 16 February (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) co-secretary Dr. Krishna Gopal said that spirituality should be visible in the conduct and behavior of teachers and students. Spirituality is the soul of India. Therefore, it is the duty of teachers to enrich the inner spirituality of India.

Sah Sarkaryavah was addressing the All India Institutional Leadership Conference organized by Vidya Bharati Institute of Higher Education at Malviya Auditorium of Lucknow University on Friday.

Dr. Krishna Gopal said that Rashtra does not mean nation. Therefore, without understanding the nation, we cannot understand India's education. The foundation of a nation stands on hatred. India stands on the land of its spiritual feelings and infinite diversity. Spirituality gave form to India's diversity as unity. He said that there is a need to understand spirituality. Spirituality gives prestige to India. How will the feeling of reverence for Mother Earth develop in religion?

Sah Sarkaryavah said that our education system should be such that it does not increase enmity. Which protects and promotes the fundamental elements of this country. He said that today's education is not making humans tolerant. Unless there is a feeling of kindness, compassion and respect for each other in the society, then what is the use of education? The world today is suffering from many problems. Because they believe that the whole earth is for our enjoyment. Whereas spirituality says everything belongs to God. We are servants of the earth. Therefore, take only as much as is necessary.

Dr. Krishna Gopal said that today some educational institutions in our country are of world class. Apart from this, there is no such institution in the world where there are no students from India. The participation of SC, ST and OBC is gradually increasing in our country. Expressing concern, he said that currently eight and a half lakh children go outside India for education. In this, Rs 2.5 lakh crore of India goes out. Therefore, there is a need to consider what is the education that we cannot give in India.

Sah Sarkaryavah said that India should become an attraction for education for the children of the world. For this it is important to know what is special in India. What the world wants to know. There are many genres like Yoga, Ayurveda and music which the world is eager to know. Earlier, students from all over the world used to come to study in the universities of Nalanda, Takshashila and Kashi. He stayed in India for many years and studied many subjects.
