Spicy curd brinjal will make you forget all the taste, make it like this at home!

Curd Eggplant Recipe

Material:

half kilo small brinjal

5 spoons fresh curd

2 teaspoons white sesame seeds

2 medium onions

2 medium tomatoes

1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste

2 green chillies

a little coriander

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli

5 teaspoon oil

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi

1 pinch asafoetida

salt as per taste

Method to make Dahi Brinjal:

Wash the brinjal, cut it from both the sides and add half teaspoon salt and turmeric powder to it.

– Add 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan and cook the brinjal on low flame until it becomes soft.

– Take out the cooked brinjal and add asafoetida and mustard seeds in the same oil.

Add sesame seeds, garlic-ginger paste and chilli and then add chopped onion and fry till it turns golden.

Mix salt, turmeric, chilli and coriander powder in curd.

– Add curd mixture to roasted onions and mix well.

Cook on low flame until the masala leaves oil.

– Add tomatoes to it and fry the spices again.

Add kasoori methi and add water as required.

When the water boils, add cooked brinjals into it.

– When the brinjal starts smelling, turn off the gas and check whether it is cooked properly or not.

– Add finely chopped green coriander to the prepared vegetable.

Your spicy dahi brinjal is delicious, and you can serve it with roti or paratha.
