Dhanbad, 4 November (Hindustan Reporter). Three people lost their lives while one was seriously injured in a horrific road accident that took place on Monday morning near Fakirdih on GT Road in Govindpur, Dhanbad. Who has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
Regarding the incident, it is being told that at around 7 am today Ruby Khatoon (26) went to tuition with her daughter Seepat Parveen (08), sister Janvi alias Ayat Parveen (15) and daughter of Durgesh Shah who lives in their neighbourhood. While they were preparing to cross the road, a speeding pickup van crushed all four of them badly, due to which Ruby, Sipat and Janvi died on the spot. While Durgesh Shah's daughter was seriously injured. The local people immediately admitted him to a local private hospital, where his condition remains critical.
People angry over the incident blocked the road demanding compensation. After this, BDO Zaheer Alam, CO Dharmendra Kumar Dubey and local police station in-charge Mohammad Rustam Ali reached the spot after getting information about the incident and pacified the people. The owner of the pickup van involved in the incident, which is said to be from Bihar, has assured a compensation of Rs 1 lakh each to the families of the deceased and the entire cost of treatment of the injured girl.
