Ludhiana: In a horrific accident that took place near Green Land School near Aman Nagar Main GT Road in the area under Salem Tabri police station, one youth died on the spot, while another youth was seriously injured and was taken to Ludhiana Civil Hospital for treatment. Investigating officer SHO Shingara Singh said that late last night, three motorcyclists traveling at high speed collided with a car coming from Jalandhar, after which they were seriously injured on the spot. Police reached the spot and took stock of the incident.
He said that the motorcyclist died on the spot and the other youth was seriously injured. He said that the car driver fled from the spot and the heirs of the deceased have been traced and informed. Further action should be taken only after recording their statement upon their arrival.
