Commissioner Ashutosh Pandey, while directing the zone commissioners of the corporation, has said that they should pay special attention to the quality of the development and construction works being carried out by the corporation and the time limit for completion of the work, and speed up the work by giving necessary speed to the work process.
Commissioner Ashutosh Pandey today held a meeting of zone commissioners of the corporation in the meeting room of the main administrative building of the Municipal Corporation Korba, Saket, and reviewed the proposed, progressing and completed works of the corporation. During this time, he distributed various items including District Mineral Trust item, North Area Tribal Development Authority item, Infrastructure item, CSR item, Chief Minister Infrastructure item, MP item, MLA item, Councilor item, Corporation item, Environment item, NCAP item. Zone-wise and item-wise review of the works being done under the items, efforts are made to speed up the work process of the proposed works, to get the tender etc. proceedings done as per the rules on time, and to ensure progress. Instructions were given to zone commissioners and engineers to pay special attention to the quality of the works and the time frame for their completion. During the meeting, Commissioner Shri Pandey reviewed point wise the repair, improvement and construction works to be done under construction of roads, drain construction, community building and stage construction, repair and maintenance item in various wards and gave necessary guidelines.
Commissioner Shri Pandey asked the officials to immediately resolve the practical problems arising during the execution of construction works so that there is no unnecessary delay in completing the work. During the work, the concerned engineers should regularly monitor the work and ensure its quality.
