Guwahati, 02 April (HS). In order to reduce the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to continue the services of Train No. 02525/02526 (Kamakhya – Anand Vihar Terminal – Kamakhya) special train for a total of 13 trips in both directions till June.
Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Frontier Railway, has informed today that train number 02525 (Kamakhya – Anand Vihar Terminal) special, which opens every Friday, will depart from Kamakhya at 10:45 pm from April 05 to June 28 and will depart from Anand Vihar on Sunday. Will reach the terminal at 08:50 am. In return, train number 02526 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Kamakhya) special, which opens every Sunday, will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 05:20 pm from April 07 to June 30 and will reach Kamakhya at 03:40 pm on Tuesday. This special train will run with its existing composition and stoppages.
Further, to facilitate the pilgrimage to Tirupati, it has been decided to run a one-way special train from Tirupati to Guwahati. Train No. 07042 (Tirupati – Guwahati) Special will depart from Tirupati at 12:00 pm on 03 April and reach Guwahati at 09:15 am on 05 April. This train operates via Vijayawada Junction, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam Road, Khordha Road Junction, Cuttack, Balasore, Kharagpur Junction, Dankuni, Rampur Hat, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon and Will run via Gowalpara. This train with 23 coaches will have provision for AC 3-tier and sleeper class coaches.
