In order to make the Teacher Eligibility Test system transparent and completely free from cheating, the Examination Regulatory Authority and the Education Department have implemented stringent technical security arrangements this time. The Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) conducted at designated examination centers across the state was conducted peacefully amid modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) based monitoring mechanism. A total of 93,681 registered candidates from across the state appeared in this important examination. With the help of AI cameras installed from the main gates of the examination centers to the examination rooms, live webcasting and state-of-the-art surveillance system, the entire examination process was monitored real-time from the central control room located in Lucknow, thereby completely eliminating the scope for any kind of unfair activity or cheating.
For the first time, advanced AI face recognition technology and biometric fingerprint authentication were used on such a large scale to prevent the intrusion of dummy candidates i.e. solver gang in the examination. At the time of entry at the centre, the photographs uploaded on the original application form of the candidates were matched through live camera. The system immediately issued an alert when minor facial changes or suspicions were found, following which center administrators and police officials conducted a thorough verification of the documents. Due to this multi-layered technical security cover, no gang installing solvers got a chance to enter the examination centers and the examination was conducted with complete cleanliness.
