Jodhpur, March 29 (Hindustan Reporter) Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan Ayurved University, Prof. Ideathon 1.0 was organized by Innovation and Startup Cell under the guidance of (Vaidya) Pradeep Kumar Prajapati. In this, various participants from Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Yoga, Naturopathy presented different startup ideas. In this program organized in two stages, 13 participants were promoted to the second stage on the basis of analysis of business ideas.
University Registrar Prof. Govind Sahay Shukla said that various startup ideas like herbal chocolate, hair removal oil, ginger turmeric pack, portable X-ray viewer, energy drink, online consultation, millets products, carry bags made of waste cloth, skin care products were seen. He told that there is immense potential for new startups in the field of Ayurveda and Yoga because in today's era people are moving towards natural and healthy lifestyle.
Member Secretary Dr. Harish Singhal said that the students making the best presentation will be given a prize money of Rs 5,000 for the first position, Rs 3,000 for the second position and Rs 2,000 for the third position by CIMP Patna. Media in-charge Dr. Dinesh Chandra Sharma said that the main objective of this program is to give maximum promotion to AYUSH students in the field of entrepreneurship.
The expert jury members examined the structure of the startup ecosystem and its functionality, market research, selection of business model, search for potential investors, investment and representation, operations for the startup, financial planning, team building, marketing, and growing technology. The material for the course highlighted topics like financial management and employment planning, standards and opportunities for success in entrepreneurship etc. The program was conducted by Dr. Yashasvi, member of Startup and Innovation Cell.
