New Delhi, October 5 (HS). On the occasion of Navratri, painting exhibition 'Srijan' was inaugurated today at Sanskar Bharti 'Kala Sankul'. It has been organized by Sanskar Bharati, Maharashtra Province, Pimpri Chinchwad Committee. In this special exhibition, four art practitioners are showcasing their painting through their artworks, in which a glimpse of diverse artistic styles and subjects is presented.
All the artists Rajshree Taware, Sopan Taware, Lina Aadhav, Prafulla Bhishnoorkar are members of Sanskar Bharti, Pimpri Chinchwad. In the painting, paintings based on women and Mayboli using acrylic colors, Ajintha painting style and artworks on reflection, Shiv Shakti and carving art on slate have been prominently displayed. This exhibition will be on from October 5 to October 10, 10 am to 6 pm, at Sanskar Bharti Kala Sankul, 33, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, Delhi.
All India Organization Minister of Sanskar Bharti, Abhijit Gokhale said, “Srijan exhibition is being organized during Navratri in the art complex of Sanskar Bharti, although all types of art methods and art activities are going on regularly in this art complex, But the festival of worship of Shakti is going on and Shakti is considered the goddess of creation, so in this sense the title of the exhibition is very meaningful. In particular, three styles are prominently depicted, first, Ajanta painting, which has been influencing painters for centuries, second, women's theme on Navratri and third, worship of Shiva-Shakti, which is adding relevance to the theme of the exhibition. “
Chief guest at the painting exhibition inauguration ceremony was Sanjeev Kishore Gautam, Director General, National Gallery of Modern Art, Government of India along with Abhijit Gokhale, All India Organization Minister, Sanskar Bharti, General S.P. Many people including Sinha and Shailesh Srivastava (Editor and Consultant, Lalit Kala Akademi) were present.
While inspecting the exhibition of paintings, Sanjeev Kishore Gautam said in his address, “The present period is playing an important role in the revival of Indian culture by all our artists who are combining and promoting the tradition of Indian art culture through their art. Navratri is playing an important role in the revival of Indian culture. On the occasion of this, it is actually like praising the Goddess through the genre of painting, hence the organizers deserve congratulations for organizing the relevant exhibition in the festival of worship of Shakti.”
