Haridwar, September 5 (HS). Haridwar's newly appointed District Magistrate Karmendra Singh took charge on Thursday by reaching the treasury located in the district office. During this, the District Magistrate said that special efforts will be made for the all-round development of the district.
District Magistrate Karmendra Singh, while explaining his priorities, said that the first priority is to listen to public problems and resolve them in a timely manner and work as per the intention of the government, the second priority is to implement employment oriented schemes and public welfare schemes with fairness, transparency and timeliness and to provide benefits of the schemes to eligible persons, the third priority is to maintain peace and law and order in the district so that local residents as well as the devotees visiting the district do not face any kind of problem.
After this, the District Magistrate reached Harki Pauri and participated in Ganga Aarti. On his arrival in the district, Additional District Magistrate Dipendra Singh Negi, Chief Treasurer Ajay Singh, Sub-District Magistrate Manish Singh, Jitendra Singh, Laxmiraj Chauhan, Ajayveer Singh, Yukta Mishra, Gopal Singh Chauhan, Project Director KN Tiwari, District Development Officer Ved Prakash, District Panchayat Raj Officer Atul Pratap Singh and other officials welcomed the District Magistrate by paying a courtesy visit.
