Korba/ Janjgir-Champa 28 June (HS). Under the guidance of Collector Akash Chikkara, a special campaign is being organized from 18 June to 2 July under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Under Mission Shakti, there is a provision to give 5 thousand in two installments on the birth of the first child of eligible families and 6 thousand rupees in lump sum on the birth of the second girl child as per the prescribed standards in the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. A new software of the Government of India is being operated for the registration of eligible beneficiaries under the scheme.
Women and Child Development Department District Program Officer Mrs. Anita Agarwal informed that the Government of India is organizing a special campaign from 18 June to 02 July for registration of eligible beneficiaries under the scheme, verification at SO level, and payment generation. In which activities like registration of beneficiaries, verification of cases, immunization update and approval of beneficiaries due for second installment, payment approval and generation at SO level, registration of eligible beneficiaries after identification at Anganwadi centers with zero registration, linking bank accounts with Aadhaar of beneficiaries are being organized. Beneficiaries can submit their applications by visiting Anganwadi centers.
