Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, while responding to poet Kumar Vishwas’s taunt on Patanjali’s salt, has said that he is not angry with his words. Taking it lightly, Baba Ramdev said that it is part of his “business” to say such things to Kumar Vishwas.

What was Kumar Vishwas’s taunt?

During a program, Kumar Vishwas took a dig at Patanjali’s salt and said:

“Bought their salt during Navratri. They sell their products as if if you don’t buy from them, you are resigning from Sanatan Dharma. It was written on the packet of salt, ‘Salt extracted from 25 lakh years old Himalayas.’ People start thinking how Baba Ramdev must have climbed the Himalayas, taking out salt with a shovel with his dhoti up. And Balkrishna ji will be standing behind with a basket.”
Kumar said sarcastically:
“Above it was written 25 lakh years old Himalayan salt, and below it was written 7th February.”

Baba Ramdev’s light answer

In a program of TV9 Bharatvarsha, Baba Ramdev reacted to Kumar Vishwas’s taunt and said:

“When his father comes home, he scolds him to stop talking bad about Baba. His mother is my devotee, his father is my devotee. When they come in front of me, they come with folded hands. But unless they say a few things, how will their business run?”

Ramdev also made it clear that he is not angry with this comment. He said:

“Those who are angry are not kings.”
