Rudraprayag, 20 May (HS). In view of the high pressure of vehicles during Kedarnath Yatra, SP inspected the Guptkashi to Sonprayag Yatra route. Also, necessary instructions were given to the concerned personnel deployed on duty for traffic management. Asked to arrange the vehicles coming to the parking lots in Sonprayag and Sitapur in an organized manner.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Vishakha Ashok Bhadane said during the inspection that the police is very serious and sensitive towards security and traffic arrangements during the Kedarnath Yatra period. In view of the increasing crowd of passengers, instructions were given to ensure proper installation of vehicles coming on the travel route. Asked to encourage the vehicles coming to the parking lot to arrange them in an organized manner and return from Sonprayag after completing the journey to Kedarnath Dham. Talk to the pilgrims who have returned after the yatra and know their experiences related to the yatra and the police system. Necessary directions were given to the police personnel appointed at Gaurikund and shuttle parking.
The SP conducted a surprise inspection of the office of Kotwali Sonprayag and after looking at the office records gave instructions to keep all the details related to the travel period updated. Instructions were given to the concerned sub-inspectors to take timely investigative action in the FIRs etc. being registered. He directed all the personnel to take care of their health and proper eating habits while discharging their duties. Boosting the morale of the police force, the SP gave instructions to discharge their duties.
During this, Deputy Superintendent of Police Guptkashi Harshvardhani Suman along with the in-charge of the concerned police station and traffic were present.
