Meerut, 19 September (HS). A delegation of SP reached on Thursday to meet the victims of the house accident in Zakir Colony of Lohia Nagar police station area. Five lakh rupees were given as aid by SP, while the city president personally gave two lakh rupees.
A SP delegation led by MLA Ashu Malik reached Zakir Colony on Thursday to meet the victims of the house accident. This delegation has been sent by SP national president Akhilesh Yadav. MLA Ashu Malik said that this incident is very sad. National President Akhilesh Yadav has also spoken to the victims over the phone. Our Samajwadi family is with the victims. The party has provided help of Rs 5 lakh to the victims. The family will be given more help when our government is formed in the state.
SP's city president Adil Chaudhary personally gave two lakh rupees to the victim's family. Talking to journalists, Ashu Malik raised questions on the help given by the state and central government. The help that the government has talked about is not enough for this family. The government has said that it will only give compensation under disaster, which is wrong. The present government should give at least 20 lakh rupees as compensation to the deceased. Sardhana MLA Atul Pradhan, Kithore MLA Shahid Manzoor, city MLA Rafiq Ansari, former MLA Yogesh Verma, district president Vipin Chaudhary, city president Adil Chaudhary, Samrat Malik etc. were present in this delegation.
