Prime Minister of Bangladesh: The fire that erupted over the reservation issue in India's neighboring country Bangladesh is once again engulfing the entire country. In Bangladesh, internet services were shut down along with imposing an indefinite curfew over the issue of reservation for the descendants of martyrs. However, when the situation worsened, Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina had to leave her residence and go to a safe place.

Violence broke out between the opposition and the ruling party supporters in Bangladesh over the demand to end job reservation and the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. So far, about 100 people, including 14 policemen, have lost their lives in this bloody protest. According to information, after massive protests, Sheikh Hasina has resigned from her post.

Sheikh Hasina and her sister have reportedly been moved to a safe place after arson and vandalism at the Bangladesh Prime Minister's residence. A Bangladesh military helicopter has left to bring Sheikh Hasina and sister Sheikh Rehana to India.

A forum called Students Against Discrimination has announced to start a non-cooperation movement from today demanding the resignation of the government. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Hasina has said that the protesters are not students but terrorists and people should not support them. However, as the situation went out of control, media reports said that she has decided to resign and take refuge in India.

The protest movement demanding the abolition of the quota system in government jobs in Bangladesh has reached India and once again help is being sought from India. According to the report, Sheikh Hasina is coming to India, while seeing the situation in the country, Bangladeshi economist and Nobel Prize winner Mohammad Yunus has expressed concern and appealed to India for help.

“I feel sad when India says it is its domestic matter. If your brother's house catches fire, how can you call it a domestic matter? Many things come into diplomacy and it cannot be said that it is their domestic issue. Bangladesh, with a population of 17 crore, is facing conflict, youth are being killed by government forces and law and order is deteriorating. The turmoil in Bangladesh will not be limited to its borders but it will also affect neighboring countries,” Yunus said in an interview.

Yunus founded the Grameen Bank in 1983, which gave loans to the poor to start their own small scale industries. These measures lifted millions of people out of poverty in Bangladesh and Yunus' work earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. On the other hand, Sheikh Hasina has accused Yunus of sucking the blood of the poor and said that the Grameen Bank started by Yunus is charging excessive interest from the poor, so a corruption case was recently filed against Yunus.
