Jamshedpur: South Eastern Railway is preparing to run Vande Bharat Express train between Tatanagar and Patna soon. This train will reach Patna in seven hours via Bhojudih and Gomo. For this, a maintenance center is also being built in Tatanagar. Railways is considering a different route for this train, so that maximum number of passengers can benefit. Currently, the engine of trains going from Tata to Patna has to be changed in Asansol, which leads to waste of time. This problem will be solved by the new route and the people of Dhanbad will also get direct benefit from it.
However, the railways have not yet officially confirmed this. But sources say that the operation of this train can start soon. This train will have eight coaches and its speed will be 130 to 160 kilometers per hour. The responsibility of maintaining this train will be with the Chakradharpur Railway Division of South Eastern Railway. For this, a maintenance center is being built in Tatanagar. While the initial repair work will be done in Patna's Patliputra Coaching Complex.
New 'Vande Bharat' can run via Bhojudih-Gomo
This train can be run on a new route. This train can be run via Tatanagar-Purulia-Anada-Bhojudih-Mahuda-Gomo-Koderma-Gaya-Jehanabad-Patna. Recently, a Tata-Patna special train was run, which reached Patna in just eight hours via this route. By running 'Vande Bharat' on this route, South Eastern Railway can cover more of its stations.
It may be time for 'Vande Bharat'
The estimated time of this train will be from Tatanagar at 6 am and it will reach Patna at 1 pm. Then it will leave from Patna between 2 to 3 pm and reach Tatanagar between 10 to 11 pm. This train will run 6 days a week.
Presently this train goes to Patna via Asansol.
At present, the train going to Tatanagar-Bihar runs via Purulia-Jaichandi Pahad-Asansol-JCidih-Kyul. During this, its engine has to be changed at Asansol station. This wastes a lot of time.
This is the train for Tata-Patna
Let us tell you that at present there is no train from Tata to Patna, whatever trains are there, they go beyond Patna. These trains include Tata-Buxar Express, Durg-Ara South Bihar Express and Bilaspur-Patna Super Express.
Railways believes that this train will be very convenient for the passengers travelling between Tata and Patna and it will also boost tourism in the region.
