Sonipat, 29 April (HS). International Invitation Wushu Championship was held in China in which two players won gold and one won silver medal. Sports lovers welcomed the winning players at Pratap School campus on Monday.
Dronacharya Awardee Omprakash Dahiya said that among the medal winning players, Anuj 52 kg and Arun plus 90 have won gold medals and Ravi 65 kg have won silver medals. All three winners have been selected for the Wushu World Cup to be held in Australia. Wushu coach Vinod Gulia said that Ravi has previously won medals 5 times at the international level and 12 times at the national level, while Anuj and Arun have won medals 4 times at the national level. Dronacharya Awardee Omprakash Dahiya, Principal Daya Dahiya, Founder Satprakash Nambardar, Academic Director Dr. Subodh Dahiya and Wushu coach Vinod Gulia have blessed the three medal winners for a better future.
