Rohtak, 1 July (HS). Vice President of Haryana State Women Commission Sonia Agarwal said that the state government is sensitive towards women's safety and many steps have been taken for the safety of women. She also said that the Women Commission is making efforts to provide speedy justice to the victimized women. Sonia Agarwal was hearing the complaints received by the Commission at the local District Women Police Station on Monday.

He heard four complaints and gave necessary guidelines to the investigation officers of the related cases. In a case of physical exploitation, he asked the investigation officer to complete the investigation within a week and take necessary action. After hearing the complaint of Renu Sharma, who had come from Bhiwani, he spoke to the Superintendent of Police and asked him to hear the complainant. During the hearing in other cases, he took necessary documents from the concerned parties and got the assurance of speedy justice. Later, while talking to journalists, Vice-President of the Women's Commission, Sonia Agarwal said that the state government has taken several steps for the safety of women.

The government has established women police stations in every district and women staff has also been appointed in these police stations so that women can tell their problems to the women staff without hesitation. Apart from this, Durga Shakti squads have also been formed to monitor the activities of anti-social elements. Through Durga Shakti vehicles, the police is keeping a special watch on the entrances of public places, schools, colleges, universities. On this occasion, SHO Sudesh of Mahila Police Station and investigating officers of other cases etc. were present.
