Son brutally murdered his father over a minor dispute

Yamunanagar, 9 October (Hindustan Reporter). Due to a minor dispute, the son brutally murdered his own father and fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and after conducting post-mortem, handed over the body to the family. The police registered a case of murder against the son and started further investigation. The deceased was identified as Sheeshpal (55), resident of Tajakpur police station, Sadar Police, Yamunanagar.

Giving more information on Wednesday, Kewal Singh, in-charge of Sadar police station Yamunanagar, said that Sheeshpal, a resident of Tajakpur, was addicted to drinking alcohol. His friend and distant relative Ajmer Singh from Chaugaon village of Indri had come to Tajakpur and was staying at Sheeshpal's house for two days. Both of them used to drink alcohol at home due to which even the family members had objections. Yesterday, when Shishpal went to the street to get a bike to drop Ajmer Singh, son Jagwinder Singh killed his father Shishpal by stabbing him with a sharp object and fled from the spot. On the complaint of complainant Ajmer Singh, a case of murder has been registered against Jagwinder Singh and further investigation has been started. At present, the body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem. The police is investigating the matter
