Soft weather in global crude oil

Mumbai: Bullion market was officially closed today due to Saturday in Mumbai's jewellery market. However, gold prices rose further in the closed market following the global market. Silver also remained strong. Gold prices in the world market rose from 2398 to 2329 per ounce to a high of 2418 to 2419 at the end of the week.

After the world market, now prices are being reported to be high at the domestic level as well. Import cost increased. Meanwhile, in the Mumbai bullion market today, gold prices at 99.50 were trading at Rs 72,373 against Rs 72,500 while silver at 99.90 was trading at Rs 72,664 against Rs 72,800. Silver price in Mumbai without GST rose by Rs 91827 to Rs 92000.

The price of platinum in the world market rose from 992 to 993 per ounce, went up from 109 to 109 and finally the price rose from 1003 to 1004 dollars. The price of palladium rose from 969 to 970 per ounce, went up from 996 to 964 per ounce in the high and finally the price rose from 971 to 972 dollars. The price of copper globally rose by more than 1.92 percent at the end of the week.

Meanwhile, global crude oil prices witnessed pressure today. Brent crude oil price ranged from 85.89 to 84.95 USD per barrel and was last at 85.03 USD. US crude oil price was indicated at 82.10 USD after hitting a low of 83.30 USD.
