Gurugram, 30 November (Hindustan Reporter). Haryana’s Industries, Commerce and Environment Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that the residential societies have deposited 80 percent of their property tax with the corporation. He will be given Rs 10 lakh to spend on development works at his own level. He appealed to the society residents to pay property tax. The Cabinet Minister was addressing the Samadhan Camp organized at Shobha City in Sector 108, Dwarka Expressway on Saturday. During this, he held a public hearing on 20 major problems related to 32 societies of the city and gave necessary directions to the concerned officials. He assured the society residents that from now on, whatever development work will be done in your area, your suggestions will be given prime importance. Rao Narbir said that Badshahpur Assembly is the largest assembly of Haryana. In such a situation, it is not possible for him to reach every society, but solving people’s problems will always be his priority.
He said that like today’s event, Samadhan Camp will be organized at a designated place and all the societies around the concerned area will be invited there. On the problem of property ID, Rao Narbir Singh said that the government has taken cognizance of this matter and simplified the process of making property ID. He said that now any person can create his property ID with self-certified documents of his property. He said that all eligible people should make property ID and pay their property tax. He said that my first aim is to make Gurugram corruption free. He is trying to create a single window system in Gurugram to solve the problems of all the common people. During this time, the Environment Minister also called upon the gathering to make Gurugram polythene free. He said that Gurugram is a major district of NCR, so if we take any meaningful initiative then other districts will also follow it. The Environment Minister said that the people of Gurugram do not need to come to Chandigarh to solve their problems. The problems of the people of Gurugram will be solved in Gurugram itself. For this they can meet at his office in Gurugram. This will save time, money and fuel which will also be beneficial for the environment.
