Social worker planted twenty vine trees on his son's birthday.

Araria, 14 October (Hindustan Reporter). Social worker and founder of Mahakal Manav Kalyan Sansthan, Shaktinath Mishra, planted twenty vine trees on the twentieth birthday of his son Ujjwal Mishra. On Monday, Shaktinath Mishra, along with his family members, planted twenty vine saplings on the banks of Parman river to wish his son on his birthday.

On the occasion, his son Ujjwal Mishra along with his daughter Khushi Mishra, Mayank Chaudhary, Piyush Kumar Singh, Kishu Kumar, Harsh, Shiksha, Meethi, Shiva Mishra, Amar Kumar etc. were present. Shaktinath Mishra is a devotee of Lord Bholenath and apart from vine, he keeps planting other fruitful and shady plants in public places.

Giving information on the occasion, Shaktinath Mishra said that he always keeps planting fruitful and shady plants on special occasions including birthdays of family members.

He said that the Bael tree has great importance in Hindu religion. People use its trees, fruits, leaves and wood for worship. It is believed that Lord Shiva actually resides in the Bael tree and Bholenath is very fond of the fruits, flowers and leaves of this tree. It is said that worshiping the Bel tree removes poverty. The Bel tree originated from the sweat of Mother Parvati. The Bel tree has a temple in its roots, Maheshwari in its trunk, Dakshinayani in its branches, Maa Parvati in its leaves, Katyani resides in the forest, and Gauri resides in the flowers. To protect against climate change, he appealed to the common people to plant as many trees as possible.
