Moradabad, 19 August (HS). A candle march was taken out on Monday evening by all the social organizations of the city in protest against the brutality that happened with a medical college student in Kolkata. It started from Gandhi Park Company Bagh and concluded at Ambedkar Park Civil Lines. Everyone held a condolence meeting by observing two minutes of silence in Ambedkar Park. It was addressed by respected citizens like Sardar Gurvinder Singh, Neetu Saxena, Ramesh Arya etc.
The main organizations that took part in the candle march were Moradabad Civil Society, Parivartan The Change, Aao Haath Badhaye, Parag Human Foundation, Alfaz Apne Foundation, Arya Samaj, EYLM Baithak Foundation, Aap Sabki Rasoi, Prakriti Seva Samiti, Kriti Foundation Trust, Work Chapter Moradabad, Robin Hood Army, Social Foundation, Umeed Sanstha, Badhte Kadam, Sita Rasoi, Sahitya Moradabad, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Arya Veer Dal, Pupil for Animals, DPGS School, etc.
Minister of Arya Samaj Budh Bazar, Ramesh Arya, said that a meeting will be organised in this regard at Company Bagh on Tuesday evening.
