Posts

Today’s weather update: At last, the pink winter has arrived. Now cold winds have started causing shivering in the morning and evening in the entire North India including Delhi-NCR, due to which the mercury has also started falling. Light blanket of fog has started spreading in the morning and evening in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while the weather has started showing its true colors in the mountains, where snowfall alert has been issued.

Let us know how the weather is going to be across the country today.

Delhi: Morning of ‘poisonous’ haze with coolness

People in the capital Delhi have now started feeling cold in the morning and evening. Although the harsh winter is far away, the pollution haze has made the morning air ‘poisonous’, due to which the visibility has reduced significantly.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain pleasant throughout the day today. The good news is that due to the active western disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi today and tomorrow, which may provide some relief from pollution.

UP-Bihar: Fog has started now

The weather patterns are changing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar also. In eastern UP, fog has started spreading in the morning and evening, due to which the temperature has also dropped.

  • There will be fog in these districts: Today, there may be fog in the morning in many nearby districts of Eastern UP including Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Rae Bareli.
  • Condition of Bihar: Cold has started showing its effect in Bihar also. Even though the sun is shining during the day, it is quite cold in the morning and evening.

Snowfall on mountains, warning of rain in plains

The real fun of winter has started in the mountains. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain and snowfall for the next three days:

  • November 4: There is a possibility of snowfall with light to moderate rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. There may be light rain in Uttarakhand also.
  • November 5: This period of rain will move towards the plains. There may be rain and thundershowers in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh, which will bring down the temperature further.
  • November 6: Light rain is likely over parts of East Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh.

Overall, now is the time to take out your warm clothes, because the weather is now going to be completely painted in winter colors.
