Haridwar, 03 May (HS). Small traders met the Provincial Small Business Association demanding maintenance of bridge Jatwada Jwalapur, Sector 2 Barrier, Laltaro Bridge Chandi Ghat Marg and Rodi Belwala Pick Vending Zone and installation of drinking water, toilets, electricity, roads, CCTV cameras and beautification in the vending zone. Under the leadership of Chairman Sanjay Chopra, met the Assistant Municipal Commissioner and the officer in-charge of the Ferry Committee, Shyamsundar Prasad, and submitted a memorandum to him. Sanjay Chopra said that due to lack of proper arrangement and basic facilities in all the vending zones developed by Haridwar Municipal Corporation, the beneficiary small traders are facing a lot of difficulties in running their business. He said that soon the Municipal Corporation administration should solve the problems of the vending zone and in view of the upcoming Chardham Yatra, verify and issue licenses and identity cards to the small traders coming from other states. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Shyamsundar Prasad assured small traders to resolve their problems.
During this, small businessmen like Manoj Kumar, Sunil Kukreti, Manish Sharma, Kamal Sharma, Chandan Rawat, Mohanlal, Pradyuman Singh, Vikas Saxena, Harpal Singh, Bhole Shankar, Vijay Gupta, Lalchand, Gopal Singh, Jaisingh Bisht etc. were included.
