BSE Sensex opened 114 points or 0.16 per cent higher at 73,617.55 and NSE Nifty opened 19 points or 0.086 per cent higher at 22,351.75. In early trade, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 were up and 12 were down. Shares of Jio Financial Services are up by more than 4% today.
The initial public offer (IPO) of Popular Vehicles and Services Limited, a company involved in the automobile dealership business, will open today. Retail investors can bid for this IPO till March 14. Apart from this, the IPO of Crystal Integrated Services Limited will also open this week.

Popular Vehicle & Service plans to raise ₹601.55 crore through this IPO. For this, the company is issuing 8,474,576 new shares worth Rs 250 crore. However, existing investors of the company are selling 11,917,075 shares worth Rs 351.55 crore through Offer for Sale. The company's shares will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on March 19.
