Dehradun, August 10 (HS). The three new criminal laws implemented across the country from July 1 will take India out of the British mentality. This change in Indian laws is an effective step to move from India to Bharat. Senior advocate SK Dhar said this as the keynote speaker.
An advocate seminar was organized by the RSS's Sampark Vibhaag in an auditorium on Tyagi Road on Saturday under the chairmanship of former Registrar General of Uttarakhand High Court DP Gairola. Former Registrar General DP Gairola described the changes in the legal system as a necessary step. He also gave information about the changes in the provisions of the new criminal law and the Indian Judicial Code implemented across the country from July 1.
Keynote speaker senior advocate SK Dhar discussed the provisions of new and old laws regarding legal hurdles and practicality and called it a necessary step to get out of the English mentality. Speaker Dr. Poonam Rawat, Professor of Uttaranchal University Law College Dehradun, talked about electronic evidence and points related to it, which are relevant to practicality. The forum was conducted by advocate Laxmi Gusain.
