Six students from Hisar selected in Japan based MNC G-TEKT India Private Limited

Hisar, 7 May (Hissar). Six students of the University have been selected in the Pool Campus Placement Drive of 'G-Tech India Private Limited (GTIP)' courtesy the Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology. This pool was organized by the Campus Placement Drive Company collectively for B.Tech and Diploma students, in which students of Mechanical Engineering Department of the University, Government Polytechnic of Hisar, Adampur and Dhangad participated. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi and Registrar Prof. Vinod Chhokar congratulated the students, their parents and teachers.

Addressing the students during the pre-placement talk, Senior HR Manager Jitendra Kumar Sharma informed that GTIP is a subsidiary of Japan based G-TEKT Corporation and is a part of the global G-TEKT Group. He informed that this company specializes in designing and manufacturing of automotive body and chassis components such as frame assembly, door impact beam and fuel tank etc. G-TEKT India is known for its emphasis on sustainability, quality control and continuous improvement, reflecting their commitment to excellence in the automotive industry. Pre-placement talk was followed by aptitude test and technical and personal interviews. 20 students of Mechanical Engineering Department and 40 students of three Government Polytechnics participated in this drive, out of which six students of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and 15 students of various diploma colleges were selected.

Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof. Puneet Katyal said that various training programs organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, project-based quality learning and participation of the students of the department in various soft skills and aptitude training programs organized by the Training and Placement Cell have played an important role in the success of the students.

Placement Director Dr. Pratap Singh thanked GTIP Senior HR Manager Jitendra Kumar Sharma, Executive Mahendra Singh and Executive Captain Singh for conducting this drive. Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Veer Singh said that the selected students of Gujviprovi include Vikram Kumar, Vivek Panu, Jatin Kumar, Yogendra Beniwal, Sunil and Suraj. The placement drive was conducted by Vikram Kumar of B.Tech ME.
