Jaipur, March 05 (HS). Due to irregularities prevalent in cow shelters in Jaisalmer district, orders have been issued to suspend prima facie guilty departmental personnel with immediate effect and take disciplinary action against them.
Animal Husbandry Minister Jora Ram Kumawat said that for a long time, major irregularities and complaints related to grants were being received in the cow shelters running in Jaisalmer district. Taking immediate action in this regard, the department has suspended six personnel and sent them to headquarters Bikaner. These personnel have also been banned from leaving the headquarters without prior permission.
The Animal Husbandry Minister said that instructions have also been given to write letters to the concerned departments for strict disciplinary action against the officers and employees of other departments involved in these irregularities. He said that the state government, which is committed to cow service, will not tolerate any kind of mischief against cattle and the culprits will not be spared. He said that a high level investigation will be conducted in all the cow sheds of Jaisalmer district.
