Six Naxalites including a couple surrendered in Sukma, a reward of Rs 24 lakh was announced

Sukma, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). The effect of continuous action being taken against Naxalites is visible in Chhattisgarh. On Friday, 6 Naxalites, including a Naxalite couple, surrendered before the police and CRPF officials in Sukma district. A total reward of Rs 24 lakh was declared on all of them. Among these, a reward of Rs 10 lakh was declared on a Naxalite couple, Rs 5 lakh each on a woman, a male Naxalite and Rs 2 lakh each on two male Naxalites. In the past he was involved in many Naxalite incidents. Influenced by Chhattisgarh Government's “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” and “Niyad Nella Naar” scheme and by continuously setting up new security camps in the interior areas, they decided to surrender from the increasing influence of the police.

Mangadu (South Sub Zonal Bureau Coordination Dalam, ACM reward Rs 5 lakh) 27 years resident of Amapenta police station Kistaram district Sukma, female Madvi Nagul Sushila father Madvi Baburao (Kistaram LOS Deputy Commander, ACM reward Rs 5 lakh) 26 years resident village Badekwal police station Chitangupha. District Sukma, Kunjam Roshan alias Mahadev father Joga (party member of platoon no. 04, reward Rs 2 lakh) 18 years, resident of Bhandarpadar police station Bhejji district Sukma and Dashru alias Kotesh Sodi father Lachha (guard of former CCM Sudarshan alias Doola Dada, Pamed Area Committee Party member (Board of Rs 2 Lakh) is 28 years resident of Burkalanka police station, Kistram district, Sukma.

With the aim of leaving the Naxal organization and joining the mainstream of the society, DIG CRPF Range Sukma Anand Singh Rajpurohit, CRPF Range Konta Surajpal Singh Verma, Sukma SP Kiran Chavan, CRPF 212 Vahini Commandant Deepak Kumar Srivastava, CRPF 219 Vahini, at the Superintendent of Police Office Sukma on Friday. Second Commanding Officer Karmaveer Singh Yadav, Sukma ASP Abhishek Verma, ASP Naxal OPS Manish Ratre, surrendered before CRPF Assistant 2nd Corps Commandant Rakesh Kumar Thakur. CRPF and District Police, DRG Sukma team played an important role in surrender. Under the “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy”, all the Naxalites who surrendered were provided incentive amount of Rs 25,000 each and clothes.
