New Delhi: The dispute between India and Canada regarding Khalistan terrorists is increasing. India took another major decision soon after recalling its High Commissioner based in Canada. Six diplomats posted in India have been expelled by Canada. The High Commissioner of Canada is also included in these six diplomats. Canadian diplomats posted in New Delhi, India include High Commissioner Stewart Wheeler, Deputy High Commissioner Patrick and all secretaries. Earlier, India had recalled the Indian High Commissioner posted in Canada.
The dispute between Canada and India has increased over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Nijjar. Canada has made serious allegations against the Indian High Commission behind this murder. Due to which India has now recalled the diplomats including the Indian High Commissioner based in Canada. India has clearly stated that it has no confidence in the Canadian government to provide adequate security to the Indian High Commissioner.
Canada has said that the Indian High Commission will also be involved in the investigation of the Nijjar murder case. Canada has not even once provided any evidence regarding the claim that India was involved in Nijjar's murder. Earlier, India had summoned the Canadian High Commissioner to India regarding the allegations against India regarding Niger. Now the Indian High Commission or other officials posted in Canada have been recalled.
The Foreign Ministry said Canada's current Trudeau government has failed to take action against perpetrators of violence and is instead supporting them. In such a situation, Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma has been called back to India because the current Canadian government is unable to protect him. Indian High Commissioner to Canada, Sanjay Kumar Verma has 36 years of career experience, making him one of India's most senior officials. Before this, he has also represented India in Japan, Sudan, Italy, Türkiye, Vietnam and China. The allegations leveled against him by the Government of Canada are extremely objectionable.
The Indian government has summoned Canada's India-based diplomat on serious charges of murder of Khalistan supporter Hardeep Nijjar. At the same time, India criticized Canada's allegations, calling them false and baseless. Khalistani group Sikh for Justice has made a video viral and threatened Canada-based Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma. In this video, Khalistani are seen firing at the photograph of the Indian High Commissioner. He fired several bullets and tried to spread the message as if he was threatening to kill. The video went viral on social media soon after India summoned the Canadian High Commissioner to make allegations on the Niger issue.
