Six arrested in robbery case, looted jewellery also recovered

Dhanbad, 03 July (HS). In the case of robbery of Rs 1.5 lakh at the house of former deputy chief Sukar Murmu in Bastikulhi under Maniyadih police station area in Tundi, Dhanbad, Maniyadih police has arrested six criminals along with the looted goods. DSP Headquarters 02 Sandeep Gupta gave information regarding the incident on Wednesday.

He told that the robbery was planned by Vinod Sen along with Prakash Karmakar. Vinod was having a dispute with Vinod who is the neighbour of Deputy Mukhiya Sukur Murmu. The criminals had sold the looted jewellery to Sochintar Burman of Katras. With the arrest of Sochintar, all the looted jewellery has been recovered.

Among the criminals caught are Vinod Kumar Sen, resident of Maniyadih, Rupesh Kumar Sen, resident of Giridih and the remaining four criminals Prakash Karmakar, Suraj Bhuinya, Haradhan Sao and Sochintar Barman, all residents of Katras. Among them, Prakash Karmakar has criminal cases registered against him in the past as well.
