Credit goes to Army-Foreign Minister
The Foreign Minister said that the entire credit for restoring peace on LAC goes to the Army. He further said that due to diplomatic initiatives the situation on the border has become normal. The External Affairs Minister said that India and China have agreed that there will be no unilateral change in the status quo and at the same time the old agreements between the two countries will be followed. Without peace on the border, India-China relations cannot remain normal.
The armies of both the countries retreated from the disputed area
Let us tell you that on October 21, Indian and Chinese armies started removing their respective equipment from the disputed Depsang and Demchok areas of Eastern Ladakh and this was completed before the month of November. Relations between India and China deteriorated significantly after the deadly clash in Galwan Valley in June 2020. The clash was the most serious military conflict between the two sides in decades.
