Sitharaman traveled in Mumbai local train, answered passengers' questions

Mumbai/New Delhi, 24 February (HS). Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met the common man on Saturday. He traveled from Ghatkopar to Kalyan in Mumbai local train. During this he interacted with the passengers. A video is going viral on social media, in which Nirmala Sitharaman can be seen answering the questions of passengers.

The Finance Minister's Office said in a statement issued on 'X' post that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman experienced the journey in Mumbai local train today. Sitharaman also traveled in the prestigious local train of Mumbai city, a daily means of transportation for millions of Mumbaikars and the financial capital. Pictures of Sitharaman's journey from Ghatkopar to Kalyan station have been shared by the Finance Minister's office.

Apart from this, it has been told in the post that Sitharaman patiently answered their questions and told about the steps being taken by the government. She also said that she understands the problems of the passengers, work will be done to resolve them.

Earlier, Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Kapil Patil welcomed the Finance Minister on reaching Kalyan Railway Station. Sitharaman inaugurated the Mumbai campus of Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS) Pilani in Kalyan, Maharashtra and addressed the gathering.
