The Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi has filed a chargesheet against the singer. In the year 2021, a person named Van Chawla had filed a complaint against Sapna Choudhary. After investigating the matter, the Economic Offenses Wing registered an FIR against Sapna Choudhary and issued a non-bailable warrant in the fraud case because Sapna Choudhary was not appearing in court.
According to reports, during the hearing of the case, the CJM said, on the last day of the hearing, the accused sought exemption and even today, despite calling the accused, she did not appear in the court. The court has fixed the date of October 25, 2024 for further proceedings in the case.
