Sindhu and Lakshya to make comeback through Kumamoto Masters Japan tournament

Veteran Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen will begin India's campaign by returning to the court at the Kumamoto Masters Japan Super Badminton tournament on Tuesday. Both these Olympians will try their best to regain form with rhythm. Both have struggled to find their best form after disappointing performances at the Paris Games.

Sindhu reached the quarterfinals of the Denmark Open but had early exits to Lakshya Sen in both the Arctic Open and Denmark Open. Despite recent setbacks, Sindhu is confident of better results working against her new coach Anup Sridhar and Korean legend Lee Seun Il. In the first round of Japan Open, Sindhu will face eighth seed Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand. Lakshya Sen will start his campaign against Leong Jun Hao of Malaysia. After winning this match, he will play against eighth seeded Anthony Gittings of Indonesia.
