Champawat, August 24 (HS). A legal literacy and awareness camp was organized on Saturday at the Government Girls Inter College Tanakpur under the Plan of Action month of August under the chairmanship of Bhavdeep Rawat, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority.
In the camp, the Authority Secretary gave information about the Juvenile Justice Act 2015 and various schemes run by NALMA. Apart from this, women were informed about their rights. Also, the general public was made aware by distributing simple legal knowledge books and pamphlets. Before this, the Authority Secretary inspected the Legal Aid Clinic established in Tanakpur Kotwali, Banbasa Police Station and Readus Institute.
