Silver increased by Rs 2000 and gold by Rs 500 | News India

Mumbai: Gold and silver prices rose in Mumbai's jewellery market today. The rise in prices came due to the news of low prices in the world market. Due to the rise in the world market, domestic import costs increased and today there were fewer sellers and more buyers in the country's jewellery markets.

There were indications that the price of gold in the world market has again increased and crossed the level of $ 2500 per ounce. Meanwhile, domestic gold prices rose by Rs 500 per 10 grams to Rs 74,000 at 99.50 and Rs 74,200 at 99.90 in Ahmedabad Jewellery Market today, while silver prices in Ahmedabad rose by Rs 2000 to Rs 84,500 per kg.

The price of gold in the world market rose from 2488 to 2489 and the price rose from 2523 to 2524 to 2519 to 2520 dollars. There was news that the purchase of funds in global gold has reduced due to the fall in the global dollar index and bond yield. Behind gold, global silver prices rose from 28.17 to 28.18 to 28.86 to 28.82 to 28.83 dollars per ounce.

Meanwhile, global gold prices were also positively influenced by news that global crude oil prices have stopped falling and bounced back from a nine-month low. World Brent crude oil prices indicated a low of $73.64 to $73.43 per barrel and a high of $73.84 to $72.74. US crude oil prices ranged from a low of $70.51 per barrel to a high of $69.15 and a high of $70.07 to $69.91.

Global copper prices rose 0.92 percent today. Global platinum prices were at $933. Palladium prices were at $933 with a low of 943 to 944 and a high of 954 to 942 to 943. US private sector ADP job growth figures were weak. It was reported that the job growth which had reached 1 lakh 11 thousand in July has come down to 99 thousand in August.

Market insiders said this has resulted in increased chances of further interest rate cuts. Gold prices today rose to Rs 71,010 at 99.50 from Rs 71,587 and silver to Rs 71,875 at 99.90 at Mumbai bullion market, while silver prices in Mumbai rose to Rs 82,971 from Rs 81,337, without GST.
