Sikhs are being made to feel slavery in independent India: Jathedar Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib

Sri Anandpur Sahib: Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, while addressing the congregation on the occasion of Jave Nanak Naam Jassi Kala Hole Mahala, said that the Indian government is making the Sikhs feel slavery. He said that it is not in the interest of the country to make the Sikhs, who have made many sacrifices for the country's independence, feel enslaved.

Speaking at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib on the occasion of the conclusion of Hola Mahala, the symbolic national celebration of Khalsai Jaho Jalal, he said that the central government is not paying any attention to the issues of Punjab, economy of Punjab, law enforcement. Like issues of NSA, captive lions are being given to the youth, he said that Sikhs are being made to feel like second class people and slavery which is very unfortunate. He also congratulated the Punjabis living abroad.
