Shimla, 14 August (HS). BJP State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan hoisted the tricolor at the state headquarters. Under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, all BJP workers will hoist the tricolor at their homes and will also ensure large public participation in this noble work.
State BJP media in-charge Karna Nanda said that a huge Tiranga Yatra is going to be organized on Thursday in Shimla district on the occasion of Independence Day. This Tiranga Yatra will be at the district level and will be presided over by District President Prem Thakur. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, former minister Suresh Bhardwaj along with district and Shimla, Kasumpti, Shimla Rural all three Mandals' officials and workers will be present in this Yatra.
He said that the huge Tiranga Yatra will commence on August 15 from Sanjauli Chowk towards Dhalli at 4:45 pm.
District President Prem Thakur said that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the workers regarding the Tiranga Yatra. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur will be specially present during this Yatra.
