Shriprakash Shukla is the poet who kept the resistance alive: Gyanendrapati

Varanasi, March 12 (HS). Senior poet Gyanendrapati said that Shriprakash Shukla is a poet who keeps the resistance alive. Shukla's poetic work developed simultaneously with his critical work. Poet Gyanendrapati was addressing the launch ceremony of the book 'Poet of the glory of disagreement: Shriprakash Shukla' in Acharya Ramchandra Shukla Auditorium of Hindi Department of Kashi Hindu University on Tuesday.

Praising the book based on the poetic work of contemporary Hindi poetry poet Shriprakash Shukla, Gyanendrapati said that the various stages in Shukla's poetic journey have been kept in mind in the book. Presiding over the program, story critic Prof. Suraj Paliwal said that all the critics have expressed their views judiciously in the book. An attempt has also been made to present a complete assessment of Shukla.

Critics Ajay Tiwari, Krishnamohan, Prabhat Mishra and poet Nishant expressed their views in the program. Poet-writer Shriprakash Shukla, while expressing his gratitude to the guests, said that poetry is both the measure and temperature of our time and our social dynamics. There should be acceptance and continuity in all, without these two elements neither the writer nor the editor can become great.

The book has been edited by Kamlesh Verma and Suchita Verma. The program was conducted by Dr. Vindhyachal Yadav and the welcome address was given by Dr. Mahendra Prasad Kushwaha.

Alka Kumari and Sananda presented Kulgeet in the program. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Preeti Tripathi. Hindi Department Chairman Prof. Vashishtha Anoop, Prof. Balraj Pandey, Dr. Narendra Mishra, Dr. Deenbandhu Tiwari, Dr. Suryaprakash Mishra, Prof. Neeraj Khare, Prof. Prabhakar Singh, Dr. Vivek Singh etc. were also present in the program.
